Cash Handouts to Resident Tax-Exempted Households Affected by Soaring Cost of Living(住民税非課税世帯等価格高騰支援給付金)

70,000 yen will be provided to the people who are affected by rising costs of electricity, gas and food, and at the same time exempted from resident tax or levied resident tax on a per capita basis only. 

Also, as for living support, 50,000 yen per child will be provided to those eligible to receive 70,000 yen and have a child 18 years old and under. 

Those who receive 70,000 yen are:

Households exempted from resident tax

(1) People Funabashi City has the information on their bank account, etc.

  1. Please check the "notification" to be sent by postal mail from the municipality in mid-January. 
  2. If there are no changes in your situation, no procedure is necessary.

(2) People who need to go through the procedure

  1. For the eligible people, a "confirmation letter" will be sent by postal mail from the municipality in late January.
  2. If you received the letter, please fill it out and send it back to the municipality.
The eligible households are the ones all the members are "exempted from paying resident tax" in fiscal year 2023.

Application Due Date

April 30th (Tuesday), 2024,  Postmark valid on the day

Households levied resident tax on per capita basis only 

(1) People Funabashi City has the information on their bank account, etc.

  1. Please check the "notification" to be sent by postal mail from the  municipality in early February.
  2. If there are no changes in your situation, no procedure is necessary.

(2) People who need to go through the procedure

  1. For the eligible people, a "confirmation letter" will be sent by postal mail from the municipality in mid-February.
  2. If you received the letter, please fill it out and send it back to the municipality.

The eligible households are the ones all the members are exempted from "resident tax per income levy in fiscal year 2023" and at least one member is levied "tax on per capita basis."
 
※The households who moved in to Funabashi City after June 2, 2023 will be provided 100,000 yen.

Those who receive 50,000 yen are:

The eligible households are the ones who receive Cash Handouts to Households Affected by Soaring Cost of Living in Funabashi City (70,000 yen or 100,000 yen) and raise a child born on and after April 2, 2005 in the same household as of December 1, 2023.
 
Please check the "notification" to be sent by postal mail from the municipality from early March onward.
 
If a child who lives in a child welfare facility is counted as applicable, please contact the call center.
 
1. Those who have a child born on and after December 2, 2023
2. Those who have a dependent child living in a different household.
