Planetarium
The largest facility of its kind in Chiba Prefecture!
The Planetarium has a dome 18 meters in diameter, with 255 seats, making it the largest in the prefecture. Programs for the general public and for children are both shown, so visitors can enjoy shows suitable for their age.Keep coming back year round for "live commentary" on the stars as they would appear that very night and programming that changes with the seasons.
Under the twinkling stars of the night sky, your eyes will be shining too! Make a memory that will last a lifetime.
Visitors have come to love the "live commentary", which is found in very few planetariums across Japan. Even adults are spellbound by this romantic stargazing experience.

Admission
■ Children of compulsory education age living in the city: Free of charge
■ Adults: 500 yen (370 yen for groups of 20 or more)
■ High school students: 250 yen (180 yen for groups of 20 or more)
■ Elementary and junior high school students: 120 yen (90 yen for groups of 20 or more)
■ Preschoolers: 60 yen (40 yen for groups of 20 or more)
