 The terminal station of the capital that plays a gateway role, being served by many rail lines including the Shinkansen.It provides easy access to other major cities as well as the surrounding satellite cities.
 Upon completion of refurbishment in 2012, the brick appearance was restored to its original glory of 1914.The building is designated as a National Important Cultural Property and promotes the aesthetic qualities of the area as a landmark.
