Yamaguchi Yokocho (East Street)

This is the narrow street that continues from Funabashi Station's south exit to Honcho Street. The street, located along the east side of the bus route from Funabashi Station's south exit, is lined with many shops serving food and drink.
The road is known as Yamaguchi Yokocho, since the Emperor Meiji once stayed at the house of Jokichi Yamaguchi, now a traditional hotel or ryokan named "Sakuraya."

Naka Street

This is an alley that connects Ekimae Street with Yamaguchi Yokocho (East Street).
This street is lined with a mixture of restaurants both old and new and is bustling with activity day or night.

Honcho Street

This street, which approaches Funabashi Daijingu Shrine from Funabashi Ekimae Street, has long been developed with rows of shops. It is also the main venue for the "Funabashi Citizens Festival" that takes place at the end of July.
There are many interesting shops with a historical atmosphere, like a kimono shop and Japanese sweets store established 140 years ago.
