 Funabashi has long been known as an active short-neck clam digging ground. Clams from Funabashi have plump bodies and thin shells, making them naturally delicious shellfish worthy of the Edo legacy."Fukashi" a soup made with plenty of thick clams and lightly seasoned with miso, is beloved as traditional dish of this fishing town.
