Funabashi Forest Park
Enjoy "shinrinyoku" (soaking in the atmosphere of the forest) and barbecue! Play on the obstacle course too!
Cedar, cypress, and zelkova trees grow thick and a promenade stretches through this forest of nearly 15 hectares.
Take a walk here where you can breath in the rich energy of the forest and refresh your mind.
Barbecues are especially popular! Nothing beats eating under the shadow of the trees while listening to the bird calls.
Plans are available for no-prep barbecues (reservations required).
In addition to exercising on the obstacle course, you can meet for nature observation and birding, and there is even a "tea-making classroom" where you can crush tea leaves picked in the forest.
